Sarah McGuinness
Dialect Coach
“I hugely enjoyed working with Sarah, who is as thorough and exacting as she is funny and kind. An excellent and inventive communicator, she made a somewhat dauntingly specific dialect come alive with insight, patience and great cheerfulness. I cant wait to work with her again.”
–Rory Kinnear (Bank of Dave)
“Sarah’s expertise, artistry and patience are immense and I look forward to any opportunity to work with her.”
–Jennifer Ehle (She Said)
Sarah is a dialect coach from County Durham. Recent credits include 28 Years Later with Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Blitz with Saoirse Ronan and Harris Dickinson, Toxic Town with Jodie Whittaker and The Return with Juliette Binoche. Her work is rooted in the idea that it must only ever serve the narrative and enhance the creative process – never distract, never obstruct. Most importantly, she believes this work should be fun, and she is dedicated to creating an engaging, safe space that allows for that. She's also a nifty baker, responsible for keeping the team's blood sugar levels up and occasionally churning out an over-ambitious birthday/wedding cake.
